Too many ideas!

Lately I have been flooded with many ideas for the design of form and surface of pots. I have been very interested in carving through slip and I am very excited to see the results as I have been carving almost everything I touch. I have been restraining myself from carving too many items so that I can guarantee I will have something turn out that I can sell. I am glad I have learned that lesson.

When I first started pottery I would test everything even after I had found some true designs. Sometimes I would be so disappointed because nothing turned out the way I wanted it to. However it did teach me the art of letting go and not being too attached to things. So perhaps it wasn't so bad.

Here are some images of some pots I carved a couple nights ago.

Have a wonderful weekend!!
